I bought my Powerback at the same time as I got the Powersleeks. The Powersleek is definitely superior for bounce control. Because I run sometimes (in addition to cardio kickboxing and other bouncy stuff), that's my top concern with a sports bra--it HAS to control bounce! And at 36C, I can't afford to let the girls loose once in a while.

Pros: It's OK for low- to mid-impact stuff, like regular step aerobics, elliptical, walking, or yoga. And it gives you enough separation that you look like a woman, not someone in an Elizabethan costume.

Cons: Just not enough support for the price. And the biggest PITA of all? Putting it on over my head! What good are back hooks if you have to hook them before you put the bra on? I never fail to catch the underwire somewhere on my head or neck and end up getting myself all tangled up in the stupid thing. If you have someone around to help you put your bra on before every workout, might not be an issue. For me, though, the Powerback is basically a bench warmer because it's such a PITA just to get it on. And it's even harder to take back OFF again if it's all sweaty and damp--you need the jaws of life to get you out of this thing.

I'm an odd size (38A) and simply cannot find that size in a retail store for a "regular" bra. I have, until now, been settling for B-cup racerback running bras. I tried the Playtex. Cross Your Heart lightly lined bra in my size, but I didn't fill the cups even halfway:P I've been sadly living in t-shirts and high-neck shirts because I can't find a bra that allows for a lower neckline, as the racerback bra's halter-type straps will show. This is, first of all, the most comfortable bra I have ever used! Also, it fits my humble bosom very, very cooperatively. This bra accepts me just as I am, LOL! The loosest set of hooks/eyes in the clasp was more than tight enough to keep the cups in place, and I had room to tighten them as it stretched out a bit, because I wear it way more often than my other bras. (it is the most comfortable!) I was also able to leave some room to tighten the straps; usually I have to start wearing them as tight as they go because of my narrow shoulders.
Also, the cups are very nicely shaped with the perfect amount of padding. I certainly don't need any padding for the sake of appearance, but I do like to have a little to prevent any embarrassment when I'm feeling chilled, if you know what I mean.

I *might* be able to size down from a 36D to a 36C... I will experiment with that later. But I am probably ok and just reading too much into it. I always wear a 36D. The D cup on this seems just a tad bigger than I am used to. Just a tad. This may be why I'm not getting the spillage though, so I should probably not chance it. Just received mine in black and white. Although I have not had them long, I have to agree with other reviewers who suggest this might be the ONLY body briefer I wouldn't mind to be seen in! For what it is, it is very pretty and does not look like Grandma's girdle-wear. I do take issue however, with the reviewer who said they are for size 6 -10ers (why would you even buy one of these if you are that tiny??). I'm here to tell you that you do not control the market, not by a large margin (pardon the pun). The average American woman today wears a size 14-16. And I am here to tell you that it looks great on that size frame. Furthermore--unless you are looking for serious "suck power" (as my girlfriends say)--this briefer works just fine. It is lacy and thus allows skin to breathe. It is moderately elastic and thus, offers a wee bit of smoothing. The bra part is VERY lift-and-separate as they say! (Just a hint of pointy, so be forewarned if you prefer the uni-boob look). So, my two cents to say that larger sizes look and work just great in this model as long as you are not looking for girdle-grade suck power. I wear mine weekends and casual, however, I'm thinking of buying more for fulltime duty (work wear) because they are so much more darn comfy than the stiffer ones. Matter of personal taste I guess. Also, one complaint and something I will be keeping an eye on--the straps are disappointingly cheap--both the fabric and the attachment site. Because I am pretty chesty (DD) I worry about the weight pulling on the fabric and wonder how long it will hold. The plasic loops are cheap and look like the kind that will break with too much laundering. Other than that--pretty, functional, comfortable, with serious lift-and-separation of the girls! Try one! You will probably like it. Oh--and I give it a 4.5 because of the cheaper, hard straps and fear of pulling, and slight-pointy-factor.
